Will provide technical and professional leadership regarding applicable Environmental regulations and social issues specifically for all Phoenix Business Units facilities in support of the Director Sustainability.
Work closely with multiple teams and stakeholders at Phoenix to develop and manage the companys corporate social responsibility program
Passionately drive outbound awareness and expansion of the program globally
Develop and execute metrics-driven strategies to measure programs overall success
Create and deploy a diverse range of platform-specific programs and integrated campaigns that involve numerous aspects of outbound social-based communications mechanisms
Drive partnerships and integrations pertaining to program
Promote an action oriented sustainability culture with a sense of urgency that drives commitment to attaining world class performance.
Spearhead the environmental and sustainability improvements within the company and assist with identifying, conceptualizing, and implementing improvement projects related to sustainable projects.
Develop new programs to streamline and simplify sustainability programs and processes for
Business Units focused on environmental and sustainability programs
Provide direct involvement with BUs to ensure environmental compliance through the collection of data and timely reporting of required by regulation to include federal, state and local obligations.
Leads and drives the development of Phoenixs corporate sustainability strategy, goals and metrics, in conjunction with external experts and relevant cross-functional teams (i.e. corporate, country, and business teams)
Accountable for leading and driving progress in Phoenixs Corporate sustainability program.
Manages and develops sustainability communications internally and externally with key stakeholders.
Delivers completion of monthly review of key metrics including carbon, energy, water, and waste, by gathering and analyzing source data.
Prepares annual report on sustainability goals and achievements and assists in the development of a corporate responsibility report.
Liaison with all functional areas within the company to assure Safety, Security, Physical and Environmental and asset conservation issues are fully understood and executed.

Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelors Degree, Preferably an MBA from leading agribusiness, environment or social sector institute
Minimum of 12 years agribusiness, social or environment experience in roles of increasing responsibility and leadership.
Experience with farmer development and grass root institutions
Experience developing and implementing agribusiness, projects, water management, safety, environmental and health programs, processes and framework for multiple sites.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of experience in a leadership role
Experience in a fast-paced agribusiness or social background
Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance metrics and outcomes
Superior communication skills verbal and written
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to develop multiple solutions to an issue and make valid recommendations for resolution
Able to understand and execute processes including: recognizing customer needs, communicating process changes, measuring and assessing success and identifying areas of improvement
Ability to extensively travel and remain off site developing farmer linkages and grass root institutions.
