Job Description

Strategic Planning
Participating in the strategic planning exercise for the Country

Accounting & Review
Review Business Financial Performance with Country Head.
Preparation of the Financial Statements as per Local Regulation and IFRS
Accounting for Mergers and Acquisition and Disposal of Subsidiaries.
Assist in Inventory Valuation and Debtors
Tax Management
Comply with Group accounting systems and ensure accurate outputs as per Group standards.

Systems, Process & Control
Complying with Standard Operating procedure for the Accounts function
Preparation and Reporting of Financial Statements in adherence to Group standards
Following KYC Procedure and ensure strict compliance before any new Customer or Suppliers is On Boarded
Following Credit Rating System, Assess Credit Worthiness and Approve Limit, in case where Credit terms are requested
Follow Transfer pricing Mechanism to ensure adherence to Tax

Liaise with Auditors and ensure timely completion of Audits
Liaise with Tax Consultants with regard to Tax Matters in HQ and at Subsidiary level
Liaise with Tax Department with regard to GST / VAT matters

Liaise with IT department as a functional expert in reviewing systems & suggest new development to automate every sphere of activity with a focus to reduce time as well as manpower in managing the function more effectively.
Implementation of ERP in the Organization

Performance Evaluation and feedback and discuss Career growth based on performance
Induction program for Staff before taking charge of their role

Assess Jurisdiction issues with regard to Accounting & Tax related issues before finalizing incorporation of a new outfit
Move in first and put in place Accounting Controls before startup commence operations
